"Av.opp" (current season only) figures show the average strength of the away sides entertained by each team at home and the average strength of the home sides visited by each team playing away - the higher the figure the tougher the average strength of opponents played so far.
The five letters in sequence after the points total show the results of the last five games (home and away) with the most recent result to the right and Cup games in lower casing (League results are in caps). W = WIN, L = LOSS, D = score-draw (1-1, 2-2 etc.) and O = 0-0 draw.
The FORM figures are based on the last five games and take both margins of defeat or victory plus the form of the opponents when the game was played into account. The highest figures in each column are shown on a blue background and the lowest figures are on a red background so you can see who is best or worst in each case.
If you click on the Team Name, you'll find a complete Club Record for that team going back to when our own data starts.
NEW FEATURE (as of June 2010): The league tables are now 'sortable'! click on a column heading to sort the table based on the values in that column. Clicking again will toggle the sorting between low to high and high to low. Hold down your keyboard's Shift key and you can sort on multiple columns. E.g. click on the 'Chg' column heading to sort the table on change of position. Then (while holding down the shift key) click on the 'Team' column heading to sort the team names alphabetically WITHIN the change of position sort.
